Below is a simple and easy way for you to send us your claim documents and information. One of Senior Adjusters will review your claim and the documentation that you submit and get back to you to discuss how we can help you. We will then put together an action plan, tailor made to your specific situation.

In order for us to do a thorough review of your claim, we will need several pieces of information from you. The more detail, the better. To submit a complete claim packet, you will need the following items:

A scope of loss is the insurance company’s estimate for your repairs.  It outlines a detailed estimate for the repairs to the damage of your home or business.

This is what the insurance company thinks your damages are and what the repairs should cost.

However, they are not always correct.  Many times, the carrier’s estimate is lacking and/or under valued.

Your insurance company’s adjuster should have given you a copy of their estimate which includes the scope of loss.

You are entitled to a copy!

If you did not get a copy, call your insurance company and ask them to email or mail you a copy for your records.

YOUR ESTIMATE FOR REPAIRS

YOUR ESTIMATE FOR REPAIRS

This is your estimate from your contractor or from your own research of how much it will cost to repair the damages done to your home or business.

Whether you have a contractor or not, we will create and write our own estimate after our inspection of your property and policy.

If you have already had the repairs completed, we will need to see the invoices from your contractor.

These estimates and invoices are essential when disputing the cost of damages claimed by the insurance company.

These are very helpful to us as we prepare and write your estimate for repairs and to document damages.

These will contain aerial pictures and measurements of your roof or any other damaged area that your insurance company inspected or hired an engineer to inspect.

This report is valuable as it contains the details as to why your insurance company paid or denied your claim.  These reports often times are ambiguous, erroneous, and focus on “other damages” like “wear and tear” instead of the actual damages caused by a covered peril in your policy.

This is the basic information we will need for an initial review.

See the example of what your Declaration Page and Checklist of Coverage’s looks like.

If you do not have this, you can call your agent or insurance company and ask them to email it to you.  For more complicated claims and for a COMPLETE review, we will need your ENTIRE policy (your Policy Jacket with ALL Endorsements), which is usually 80 pages or so.

Again, you can request a full copy of your Policy Jacket with all endorsements from your agent and/or your insurance company. Some companies allow you to download your policy from their website.

***Please submit all information and documents for the claims review process.  The more information you give us, the better. Failure to submit ALL documentation will delay the review process.***

In order to serve you faster, please include all of the suggested documents that apply. Submit all of your documents here, and do not send them one by one via e-mail. Sending them one by one (as you get them) will drastically slow down your turn around time, as we will have to organize and shuffle multiple files.

Submit the best pictures you have of the damages. Please make sure your photos are labeled, so that we will know where the damage is located. (ex.: living room ceiling, above window)
